PS Adhesive Systems

PS Adhesive Systems was formed in 1988 after a market was identified for technical adhesive tapes in the North East of England. The customer base has since grown across the UK and overseas.

The company has gone from strength to strength with bases on the North coast of Yorkshire and in Greater Manchester, housing some of the latest technology in conversion equipment.

PS Adhesive Systems have been awarded prestigious distributorships from leading manufacturers including Velcro® brand products, Sellotape Industrial and Scapa Tapes. Our other principal suppliers are Nitto Denko, Tesa UK and Bostik.

The company employs a highly experienced and long serving team of eight personnel including an industrial chemist and continues to enjoy increased sales and product diversity. This success is based on the company’s ability to solve customer bonding problems and respond quickly to technical enquiries.

In May 2003 PS Adhesive Systems acquired larger premises to accommodate new conversion and lamination equipment and recent investment in further lamination and sheeting machinery has given PSAS the ability to produce bespoke adhesive constructions.

Major areas of activity are in the print & graphics, paper and film conversion and print finishing markets.
Plate mounting , splicing, double sided, transfer and fingerlift tapes along with roller wrap products are all stock items.

With slitting and rewind facilities capable of dealing with materials up to 1.7 Metres wide and incorporating shear, crush and razor slitting techniques the options are endless, giving PS Adhesive Systems the flexibility required by the end user today.
